Joshua's FIRST HAIRCUT! November 12, 2006

Can you believe it's time for Joshua's FIRST HAIRCUT!?!

Well, it's ABOUT TIME... he's 19 1/2 months old, for cryin' out loud!

He looks like a totally different person!

It was LOTS of fun... we went to Disney's Magic Kingdom, and had his hair cut at the barber shop on Main Street USA!!!

OCTOBER 2006 - it's been a while!

Hi everybody! Hope this finds you all well!

We've been keeping busy the past month since the last update...

I updated some pictures from September of the boys... mostly playing at the playground in The Springs. They're growing up so fast and really love playing hard outside.

I've also posted some pictures from October. The boys had their school pictures taken, and we celebrated Chris' birthday. And, OF COURSE, we can't forget HALLOWEEN! They dressed up as ASTRONAUTS!

General September news...

Hi all... I just realized this morning I hadn't sent out my email yet, so I apologize for being late!

The boys are growing up so fast!
Jacob is over 3 1/2 years old now, and is such an incredible little boy. He has so many interesting stories to tell and has such a vivid imagination. Lately (ever since going to the Kennedy Space Center), he's been really interested in astronauts and space. His favorite TV channel is NASA-TV! (hmmm... remind you of Daddy?) His little mind is just growing so fast... and he has a memory better than Mommy's (who doesn't!?!)
Joshua's just about 18 months old now... and is in the midst of teething. (oh joy!) But he's recently been learning more and more words. It's fun learning his language... which still has to be interpreted for everyone else! Joshua is Jacob's shadow and must have a duplicate toy for every activity. There's always a caravan of boys and their trucks running in circles around the house... just crazy around here!
But we're having lots of fun... they are such a joy!

We're BACK!

Yeah we're back! We had an AWESOME trip!

We started out in Albuquerque, NM, where Chris had to work for a couple days. I took the boys out to the zoo, the aquarium, and the botanical gardens during those days...

We also went up the longest tramway in the world at Sandia Peak in Albuquerque...

Then we started out on our travels... we headed up towards FOUR CORNERS, USA...

... and then went to the GRAND CANYON!

Then we drove down through Flagstaff, Oak Creek Canyon, and Sedona... just gorgeous!

And finally, we ended our trip down in Phoenix, AZ. We got to see the house where Emily's mom was born... and visited the graves of Emily's Great-Grandparents... and her GREAT-GREAT-Grandparents... very cool!

We had so much fun... and the boys did wonderfully on the trip... we're so proud of them!

We leave on Tuesday for Alburquerque, NM... and we'll be traveling to the Grand Canyon, Four Corners, and hitting all the big cities and then fly home from Phoenix.
Don't worry, we'll take lots of pictures!

We're going on a trip... in our favorite rocketship... (no, wait... that's not right!)

Hi everybody!
Well, we're getting ready for another little vacation (maybe Chris and I work a little TOO HARD... we need lots of breaks!)...

Actually, Chris has a meeting for work out in Albuquerque, NM, so we've decided to make a little family vacation out of it. We'll be leaving at the end of August and traveling around the southwest for a week. 2 days in Albuquerque for his meetings, then we're driving towards Arizona to see Four Corners and the Grand Canyon!... and then we'll end our trip down in Phoenix to visit some of Emily's family history sights (my great grandparents are buried there and my mom was born there).

So, since I'll be alone with the boys touring around Albuquerque while Chris is in his meetings, we've decided to finally invest in a double stroller. Man, who would have imagined it could be so difficult to decide. I read so many opinions on websites... and finally decided... so hopefully it will ship JUST in time for our trip!


Anyway... we'll keep you all updated with our plans, and of COURSE post pictures once we get home!
