Bridget Kathleen is here!

The big day came Monday July 7th!
Emily went into the hospital at 8AM to be induced... still not knowing if it was Jonah or Bridget!
The induction went well... scary at times with the baby's heart rate dropping and threatening a c-section... but overall a beautiful success! Everything moved so quickly at the very end... the baby came really fast... less than 15 minutes at the end!
Chris' delivery skills are improving every time... he helped deliver Bridget Kathleen at 7:15pm and cut the cord... leaned up to Emily and announced "It's BRIDGET!" What a wonderful moment! She was 6 pounds 15 ounces, and 19.25 inches long... with lots of dark hair like Emily!
We are all so thrilled and just in awe of our little GIRL!

Here are some pictures... but there are MORE in our PHOTO ALBUMS (so don't forget to go check those out too!)...

May... June... and some July 2008

It's our last month as a "family of four", and we've kept really busy!

For Memorial Day we went up to St. Augustine... visited Marineland (not much there!), the lighthouse, and the Fort (Castillo de San Marcos) in St. Augustine...

Chris has kept busy working really hard on the house. He removed an ugly sliding glass door, framed in the wall... exterior stucco, interior wall... and now we have a gorgeous new bookshelf on that wall! Good work, Daddio!

Jacob's been keeping busy with vacation bible school and swimming lessons!

And both boys are enjoying their summer at The Spring...

We also had a great, but quiet, 4th of July... wishing for a firecracker baby wasn't enough... Bridget wanted to come on her own schedule!
